Located at the prime district in Macao, China, Macao Polytechnic Institute is a government funded and forward-looking university offering versatile certificate, diploma and degree programs tailored to students locally and from abroad. The Institute now invites applications for the position in teaching English to Chinese students for occupational purpose.

Macao Polytechnic Institute has been expanding programs to provide students with occupational training and to prepare them for university admission. Qualified applicants are now invited for newly opened position(s) of Lecturer in English and successful candidates will be awarded a 2-year contract, tenable from February 2002 to January 2004.

| Requirements: |

- Native speaker in English; |
| |
- Candidates should possess a bachelor degree in English, |
| |
iiipreferably holders of master degree or Ph.D degree; |
| |
- Creative and interactive classroom teaching is an asset. |
|
| Remuneration: |
| |
- A minimum annual compensation of USD39,000 |
| |
b(tax-exempted) which is commensurate with qualifications; |
| |
- Attractive compensation package, including medical plan, |
| |
iiicomplimentary annual round trip air passage and 22-day annual leave. |

| Cost of Living: |
| |
